Vote Yes For EMS    -    Keep Our Fire Stations Open

Local Dollars For Local Service

On August 17th, you will be asked to approve a $0.25 increase to the existing EMS levy, which has not seen an increase since it was initiated in 1981.  Declining property values and city annexations threaten to leave a $3.1 million dollar shortfall to the operating budget of Fire District 7, and approval of this levy is necessary to continue the current level of service.

This levy is necessary for the fire department to operate.  Failure of the EMS levy will cause drastic cuts to emergency services, and the administration of Fire District 7 has stated that closing fire stations is a definite possibility.

YOUR VOTE IS VERY IMPORTANT.  40% of the voters from the last General Election need to vote in this primary for the results to count.  Please vote YES on August 17th - keep our fire stations open!
